Today is my birthday (a big one) and I've asked my hubby for a new digital camera. The one I really want is a Sony A350 with interchangeable lenses. He about croaked at the price...but he did agree to a trip to the local camera shop to check it out. Happy Birthday to ME!!
Actually, I used to love photography in the 35mm days. Okay, so now I am really dating myself. But I hope to achieve that kind of quality photos from this new camera. I also am planning to get into thread painting, using photos as the base. Beth Wheeler's book "Altered Photo Artistry" outlines the process. Sounds like fun!

Happy Birthday Lisae! Looking forward to seeing pictures you take with your new Sony! I love Sony cameras. I have a small Sony for my purse. I'm using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 right now. I've had about 2 yrs. Cameras are constantly changing and getting better. That Sony sure looks nice.
